As a graphic recorder, Jonny draws pictures of conversations in real time. Participants see their discussions transformed into visual diagrams of pictures and key words at meetings, workshops, and keynotes. Jonny Goldstein holds an M.P.S. from the Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University, also known as the “Center for the recently possible.” He studied drawing and animation at the School of Visual Arts. Jonny was awarded the Silver Medal in the Mind Mapping Competition at the 1999 Mind Sports Olympiad. Over the years, he has taught hundreds of people of all ages to draw and visually communicate. He is the cofounder of VizThink Philadelphia, a community of visual thinking professionals which meets at Wharton School of Business. His illustrations have appeared in publications like PR Strategy and Tactics, The Industry Standard, and Die Welt Kompakt. Jonny has appeared on Tech TV and has been linked to by prominent blogs BoingBoing and Scobleizer. In his spare time, when he is not drawing, he enjoys playing soccer. He also plays a mean blues harmonica.
