Having worked internally and/or externally for more than 25 years with businesses, government agencies, associations, foundations, and nonprofits, I have experienced many change efforts and processes. Building on an appreciative approach, I have designed and facilitated large events, small senior team planning sessions, and meetings for developing and mature groups.
With a good balance of right brain-left brain assets, I use the visual to support and enhance group performance and outcomes. Post meeting summary visuals are used for telling the meeting/project story to those not present, or retelling the story to participants at follow-up sessions for a quick jumpstart to keep the conversation moving forward.
While based in the Twin Cities, I travel with pleasure to your site. I work with your internal or external partners on projects, and also am part of The Collabrium , a network of seasoned consultants that could help you navigate change efforts, energize your innovation quotient, support high performance work environments, and enhance your employee’s leadership skills.
My undergraduate sociology work (Beloit College) began my interest in the power of groups. My first graduate degree in library science (University of Minnesota) helped me serve people who wanted and needed information for their life and work. In my next graduate degree in human development and organizational change (St. Mary’s University) I put the pieces together adding the power of image In supporting groups’ work toward their futures
